Happy Birthday

Today we will have fun celebrating Mom's birthday. I so appreciate the annual rhythm of remembrance and celebration. The pause to reflect and appreciate. The opportunity to communicate creatively, light-heartedly, and extravagantly some of the joy of a special person. For all life's pressures and stresses that would distract and have us forget the treasures in our own home, the birthday party is a delightful and invaluable marker.
